Tangmere is a renowned Battle of Britain airfield and a base for RAF High-Speed Flight.
It was also an RAF station for jet fighter squadrons.

It was founded by a group of dedicated volunteers.

There is a unique collection of aviation exhibits and memories surrounding this famous Battle of Britain airfield on display in the museum.

World air speed record-breaking aircraft, Hunter, Swift and Meteor, are housed inside a hanger with several more aircraft.

Outside are more jet aircraft and helicopters.

Also a beautifully kept Memorial Garden is open for visitors at the back of the museum.
