SATURDAY 04.JULY 2009 This year's show enjoyed good warm sunny weather which brought out the crowds. Themes for the event were.... 90 years of the RAF Benevolent Fund NATO at 60 FLY NAVY 100 It was great to see 2 new display teams this year.... Team Orlik from Poland and Team Viper flying Strikemaster aircraft. Another highlight was to have been the Vulcan giving a flying display. However according to the CAA, paperwork was not in order, so they would not allow it to take to the skies. Fortunately for the crowds eagerly waiting to see the historic aircraft, it was repositioned from the airfield to join the static display. Click on photo to see a bigger image.
